Update #8

This statue outside Rotary HQ reminds me that it’s all about the children - and that while polio exists anywhere, every child is at risk. I’m in Evanston, part of the organising team for a global seminar for regional leaders. My daily walking has continued, mainly by the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan.

Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
To help eradicate polio once and for all, I will be walking 6 km every day for 60 days, culminating in a final challenge: a trek to Everest Base Camp. I'm taking this journey to raise awareness and funds to End Polio – a disease that is 99.9% eradicated but still threatens children in vulnerable communities.

Every step I take represents the millions of steps needed to deliver vaccines, educate communities, and provide other essential support. But I can’t do this alone – I need your help!

By partnering with me, you will be:
✔ Keeping children safe - from this devastating disease
✔ Making a global impact – your contribution directly supports Rotary’s polio eradication efforts
✔ Being part of history – Rotary and its partners are on the verge of eradicating polio forever. Your support helps make that possible!

Please make a donation to help us obtain the vaccines, transport and materials needed in our fight against polio - or share my page to spread the word.
